Fanart translation.. again

Feel kinda of bad for not posting... Here's a translation of fanart which I found in tieba nurarihyon no mago gallery~ The fans were very upset about the chapter 184 (can't believe it's more than half a year ago, how time flies) and I guess one fan drew this as a response :D

Version 2 summary because I misread some stuff hehehe.

In the alternate world of nurarihyon no mago, where everyone is a delinquent, Rikuo is the badass leader of the powerful delinquent group in the delinquent school. Tsurara is the female member of cadre group. Her label is Rikuo's enemy? or....? She has been mistaken for Rikuo's woman and captured by the Hagoromo Gitsune's female and drag queen delinquent group, in order to lure Rikuo to them. Rikuo, who had some trouble with the keikain police, last words for this omake is "let's go! Wait for me! Tsurara!" XD

but sadly this omake ended with hiroshi sensei's note that this might be the last one for these delinquents' parallel world. I do want to see a sequel for this from hiroshi sensei. Oh well, there are fan manga thankfully.

Chapter 115 aka how did I miss this??

Was revisiting tensaitekikuroneko's tsurara x rikuo page (I simply love pages like this~ Strengthen my love for the pair.) and was wondering which chapter did the above page appear in (was reading 100++ chapters in 3 days, so tend to miss out or forget alot of things) and found out that it's a followup from that infamous matoi rejection by tsurara. Oh well, not everyone is perfect and has good control over their emotions.

Was reading that chapter and realised something.

Here we have kubinashi, kejoro, kurotabo and kappa arriving at the scene to find that rikuo and itaku had defeated tsuchigumo. Kubinash blamed himself for not protecting rikuo after looking at his injuries and Rikuo did that now very familiar stop hand gesture.

Rikuo said some cool words and told the four by calling their names that from now on, he would be counting on them. And HERE COMES THE IMPORTANT PART THAT I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED ALL THIS WHILE XD

This panel is viewed through Rikuo's eyes!!!!!!! Look at how Zen is looking straight at the reader/us/Rikuo. And Zen is not the main subject in the panel. Because I believe everyone's eyes were drawn to Tsurara who was quiet and standing far from Rikuo (which is unusual for her personality and how she will normally react to this type of situation). So no doubt that she was ashamed of her earlier actions and think that rikuo would not count on her again, and Rikuo must be looking for Tsurara XD

Rikuo just couldn't bear to see that type of Tsurara, so he had to call her out. （⌒_⌒ ）

By doing that, he showed Tsurara that he had no hard feelings about the rejection and will count on her again. hmm. I don't understand awashima's comment.

Oh gosh, i love this fanart so much! Rikuo is sooosooo tender towards Tsurara and Tsurara
must be thinking "Rikuo sama, what are you doing??" ^∇^

Nurarihyon no mago chapter 193 spoiler part 2

Yes! Found the japanese scans~ Just like what watdafish mentioned, Rikuo is really shouting instructions to everyone except Tsurara! XD

and also become a place for nura clan to return home. (just learnt that nare is an imperative form of naru (to become), which means he is still ordering tsurara)
私が... 帰る場所に...?
Me... a place to return home...?

This reminds me of 184 where Tsurara tells Kana to be in Rikuo's 帰る場所, then now Rikuo asked her to be nura clan's 帰る場所? It's like the duty of the mistress of nura clan XD. Rikuo who is the leader or daddy of the group has lead and protect the group, while the wife/mummy is to create a home for the group XD

*later edit* Have to make some changes to the last 2nd page. In the first edition, the shy me used completely for すっぽり, the other meaning for this word is snugly. And used settle in for 収まった (or 収まる), the other meaning is to be fit tightly into or to be sheathed...

Found a good lemon fanfiction for Rikuo & Tsurara. Really put the one i am currently writing to disgrace -_-. Oh well?

A great post that explained Tsurara and Kana scene in chapter 184

Found a great post in tieba that explained the japanese words and possible meaning in the tsurara and kana scene. Sadly this thread got deleted (what a waste, some of the replies were really great) and I only managed to save the cached page.

the mangaka is very cunning, using this type of ambiguous speech, the chinese team directly translated it as "Please become Rikuo sama's returning lodge." [请成为陆生大人的归宿吧] It sounds as if Tsurara had entrust Rikuo to Kana. But the japanese meaning is not so straightforward. The mangaka did not mention where is rikuo's [帰る场所] place to return to.




The important point in hundred stories clan arc is the relationship between Rikuo and humans. Tsurara's inner thoughts said that if Rikuo wants to continue living as a human, Kana is a must. This clearly states that Rikuo's returning place is the human life before hundred clan arc.The life before people know he is a half youkai. What Tsurara want to express is that when Rikuo returns to his human life, she wish Kana will be by his side. This is something Tsurara as a youkai cannot accomplish. That's why she said that it's vexing. In this sentence, there isn't any romantic implications, or "defeated in love" meaning. The mangaka did not state clearly but let Tsurara said this kind of words.

これから50年・・・100年と一番近くでお慕いするのは　つららなんですから！

Since she is not human, it's impossible for her to accept Rikuo and make him happy as a human. A bit vexing, but even it's 50 years or 100 years later, the one closest to Waka, like Waka the most will be me Tsurara! The poster remembers "Must remember this point!" is written in the corner of the manga. That's to say, do you see any signs of defeat? She is 吃果果的表白 (can't find the right words to translate this. The poster felt that the importance of this scene is the relationship of these 2 girls. It does not involve Rikuo. Everyone knows how Tsurara felt about Kana in the past. In this scene, Tsurara approved of Kana. It's a youkai to human sort of approval. Kana, as a human, can understand youkai rikuo, this makes the rikuo-centric Tsurara approved her. Tsurara understands the importance Rikuo has for humans, so she thinks that Rikuo needs some humans who can understand him by his side. As for why Tsurara had acknowledged Kana who was unproductive in this whole arc, and not Kiyotsugu who worked very hard in making people believe in Rikuo, the poster also did not understand. Can only say that maybe that's because Kana is the lead female.

In conclusion, these sentences are very ambiguous. Seeming set up Kana as the girl who will end up with Rikuo, but after analysis, harem route still exists.

I remember in one of the replies, the poster said that japanese will usually use another phrase of words to entrust someone to another if there's any romance implications. And also that when tsurara said those words to kana, the latter did not blush or anything.
