After looking at the extras in vol 8, Hiroshi sensei should have explored more on rikuo n kana relationship. I do like how kana acted when rikuo appeared. That rikuo is so in his own world. It really looked like Hiroshi sensei did intend to develop kana's character, but poor kana just got buried... Hmm I wonder what if tsurara got scouted by magazine, how will rikuo react?

ReplyDelete.. wow this is so sudden. I hate it when this happens. (Feel like tearbending) A sudden end to a manga. It's like the mangaka suddenly dies (*touchwood, not that i'm cursing the mangaka or anything*). How to wrap up Nue's final battle in one chapter? Guess this manga is really not popular in japan now.
DeleteI guess the mangaka will leave the romance open-ended. I hate it when this happens too. Hell, even rikuo ending up with awashima is better than open end romance.
Final chapter will probably get around 60 pages (other Manga ending in it did).
DeleteAlso, some kind of a new project is supposed to be announced with the final chapter (I don't think it is an Anime as it would be financially not worth teh risk (post-Kyoto Arc storyline was not doing that well financially that it would make people enthusiastic about animating it)). Rikuo's story was going to end in Gokadoin arc anyway (he reached the peak of his political power), but looking at the fact that some stuff was intentionally left unresolved (and few other reasons, mainly the fact that Hiroshi's style fits Youkai manga the best and that NuraMago is a generational story) make me believe that it is possible we get a sequel in the future, with Rikuo's kid as the MC. Of course, it is wishful thinking but I have been having it for weeks now.
i know this might be the final arc but since the anniversary coloured pages mentioned that hope there's another year, so i kind of hope this will last until next year march or at least this year dec. zzz
