... Japanese are known for dying from overwork. They even have a word for it, karoushi 過労死
Heard the being an designer or illustrator earns more than a mangaka who is starting out. Mangaka still has to pay his assistants out from his own pocket money.
I pray for him that he gets serializes in a monthly magazine next time... because this thing is scaaary ^_^;
