Yukinoshita Beniume

Alright, I am supposed to be writing my assignment and studying for my exam.. but...
Anyway saw this translation note by lynxian.

Page 16: Yukinoshita Beniume (雪の下紅梅)

Like the others who've had to translate this attack name, I'm not entirely sure which definition it's referring to. "Yukinoshita" (雪の下) literally means "under snow", but is also the word for saxifraga flowers. "Beniume" (紅梅) is a red-blossom plum tree, but it's not as commonly used a reading for the kanji from what I've read. It can also apparently refer to a style of layering cloth. I'm going with my best guess... maybe someone should send a letter to Shiibashi-sensei asking about it, or about the flowers associated with various characters. It could end up in one of the tankobons' Q&A sessions!
 

I am not very sure if someone had said this before but I think the use of the words yukinoshita beniume is ingenious. Yukinoshita is mangaka's flower for tsurara and is beniume for rikuo? Then Rikuo is indeed wearing layers of his and her fears and his and her kimono hehehehehe. And with tsurara's fear embracing him, so it's also kinda of like under the snow too.
